1. Who we are
Hybra (“Hybra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered workout coaching and tracking application for iOS. This policy applies to the Hybra app and any services that link to it. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.

2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information, most of it provided directly by you as you use the app:
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple-provided identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and a real or relay email address. We use this to create and secure your account.
Workout & training data
The exercises, sets, reps, weights, runs, rows, sessions, schedules, templates, and workout history you record or that the coach generates for you. This is the core content of the app and is associated with your account so it syncs across your devices.
Conversations & content you provide
Messages you send to the AI coach, and any photos you upload (for example, a photo of a whiteboard or notebook you ask the coach to turn into a workout). See AI & automated processing for how this content is handled.
Subscription & purchase data
If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation and receipt information (such as the product, status, and an anonymized transaction identifier) needed to provide your subscription. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Usage & device data
To operate and improve the app we collect limited technical and usage information, such as app events and interactions, feature usage, diagnostic and crash data, device and operating-system type, and IP address.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and sync the app and your account across devices.
- Generate personalized workouts, coaching responses, and recommendations (see Section 4).
- Process and manage your subscription and entitlements.
- Analyze usage to understand, debug, secure, and improve the app.
- Communicate with you about your account, including verification emails and important notices.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. AI & automated processing
Hybra’s coaching features are powered by artificial intelligence. To generate workouts, log activities, and reply to you, we send the relevant content — such as your message text, recent workout history, and any image you upload — to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it to produce a response that is returned to you.
This processing is automated. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed with your own judgment. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models, and our AI provider processes your content on our behalf under its terms; it does not use Hybra customer content to train its models.
5. Where your data is stored
Your account and workout data are stored on our cloud infrastructure (provided by Cloudflare) and synced to the devices where you are signed in. Some data may also be cached locally on your device for offline use. Storing your data in the cloud is what lets your history, schedules, and coaching context follow you across devices and sessions.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small number of third parties that process data on our behalf to run the service. They are permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us:
- Anthropic — AI processing that powers coaching, workout generation, and image transcription.
- Cloudflare — application hosting, compute, and data storage.
- Apple — app distribution, Sign in with Apple, and subscription billing through the App Store.
- Google Workspace — delivery of transactional email such as verification codes.
8. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
9. Your rights & choices
You can access and update much of your information directly in the app. You may also request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you can delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email admin@trainhybra.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
Hybra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International users
We operate and use service providers that may store and process your information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. By using Hybra, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app. Your continued use of Hybra after an update means you accept the revised policy.
